What is the performance schedule?

The performance schedule will be released approximately 2 weeks prior to sailing. You will also receive a schedule on board. While we make every effort to publish the final schedule in its entirety, changes are likely to occur.

What information will I need to book my cabin?

Before placing your reservation, make sure you and all your guests have a Sixthman username and password. If someone in your reservation does not have a username, they can sign up for one prior to placing the reservation at www.sixthman.net/account.

If you are unsure of whom your guests will be at the time of booking you can fill in only the information you know and add additional guests later. Be advised that you are obligated for the full cruise fare of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process even if you do not provide additional guest information to us. You will only be charged the taxes and fees for each guest you provide information for during the booking process. If you later add additional guests to your cabin you will be charged the taxes and fees associated with that guest at that time. If you wish to add additional guests beyond the capacity of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process, you may do so for the additional cruise fare associated with the transaction based on availability.

All passenger names must be received by November 1, 2010.

If you are paying with multiple credit cards, you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and card verification number) as well as the name and billing addresses for each card.

What if I want to book a single occupancy cabin?

Guests traveling by themselves in their own cabin are still responsible for the double-occupancy rate of the cabin (for example:  $799 x 2) less the second guest add-on of $179 for taxes & fees.  Single occupancy cabins also receive a discount of $199, which is the "entertainment" portion of the second cruise fare.

What is the bed configuration in each cabin?

All double occupancy cabins (except suites) have two single beds that can be converted to a queen.  All triple or quad occupancy cabins have two singles/queen and one upper bunk bed, and a sofa bed, or trundle bed.

Suites have either a queen or king bed.

What is the age requirement?

The age requirements are as follows:

  • Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel in their own cabin.
  • Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by an individual twenty-five years or older. The exceptions Norwegian will make to this policy are:
  • Guests under the age of 21 traveling with a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom.
  • Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.
  • Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple are legal Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union. The couple must have legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.

What is the referral program for the cruise?

You can earn money for referring your friends who have never attended a Sixthman event to Ships and Dip whether you are sailing with us or not!

For Cruisers:
For each new cabin you refer to Ships and Dip, you will earn $100 credit to your onboard spending account. Referrers will see a $100 credit on their onboard spending account by the third day of the cruise.

For Non-Cruisers:
For each new cabin you refer to Ships and Dip, you will earn $50 cash!  Referrers will be sent a check for the amount due after the cruise has returned to ensure the referred passenger sailed.

Referral Policy Details:
Referrals will be reconciled approximately 2 weeks prior to sailing, and will appear on the referrer’s confirmation. Please contact Sixthman PRIOR TO sailing if your referral does not appear on your confirmation.

All guests in the referred cabin must be new to any Sixthman event, and the referral must be requested at the time of booking or registering for any waitlist.

The guest booking the new cabin must put your Sixthman Username in the REFERRAL blank when placing their reservation. Referrals are not retroactive, and cannot be added after the reservation has been made.

Referrals do not apply during the pre-sale period, or after the final payment date.

How does travel insurance work?

Sixthman has teamed up with Travel Insured (TI), which specializes in marketing, managing and servicing travel insurance and emergency assistance services.  Travel protection provides you with the necessary coverage to help safeguard your travel “investment" from unforeseen circumstances such as:

• Illness or injury to you or a traveling companion or immediate family member causing you to cancel or interrupt your trip
• Jury duty
• Job layoff or termination
• Terrorist events
• Bankruptcy or default of your airline, cruise line or tour operator
• A hurricane that strikes your trip

This coverage must be purchased before your final payment due date. Coverage for all benefits except trip cancellation will begin on the departure date. The trip cancellation benefit will begin at 12:01 a.m. on the day after TI receives your application. For Pre- Existing conditions to be covered you need to purchase the Insurance within 14 days of your deposit.

Effective February 15, 2009, Travel Insured will also offer a Cancel for Any Reason Protection (not available to residents of Washington State).  The Cancel for Any Reason option must apply to all passengers on the same application.  It also only is available when selected at the same time as the original plan purchase and when the plan is purchased within 14 days of the passengers initial trip deposit.

Download our Insurance PDF for more details about this TI program.
We know you might have questions about what is and is not covered so we encourage you to read the online brochure or call TI at 1-866-684-0218 and specify you are calling about Sixthman Travel Protection.

How do I purchase cruise or travel insurance?

You may purchase travel insurance while placing your reservation online or by calling our representatives at 877-SIXTHMAN after your reservation has been placed.  Insurance is applied per person and based on the amount you'd like covered (minimum cost of the cabin per person with all taxes and fees). You may also call us to request additional coverage for other non-cruise travel, such as airfare and deposits on ground or hotel.
